Out and About - around Highfields Farm

The old Roman Camp at Caistor St Edmund lies just one mile away. There are pleasant walks in several directions from our entrance. Check out  www.boudiccaway.co.uk. The Farm is surrounded by a nature reserve to which you have permitted access.

The Suffolk Coast is a short drive away. A particular gem is Southwold, with its quaint pier, Adnams brewery, colourful beach huts and fishing harbour. www.southwold.biz
Dunwich, Walberswick are havens for cyclists, walkers, bird watchers and artists. Great Yarmouth can be reached in 30 minutes.

The Broads can be reached in under an hour. www.broads-authority.gov.uk. The North Norfolk with its vast stretches of sandy beaches and pretty flint stone villages offer great day outings.

Nick and Val Golding are happy share their knowledge of the area with you during your stay.

Cyclists are welcome and can use Highfields Farm as a base for many quiet routes around South Norfolk and into Suffolk. www.south-norfolk.gov.uk

Shopping trips to Norwich are always popular as we are only 10 minutes away by car or 5 minutes from Harford Park and Ride.
